Hotel Granvia Okayama: Here is a list of questions that our customers frequently ask us.

When is check-in and check-out time?

Our check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 a.m.

Is it possible to check-in before 3:00 p.m. and check-out after 12:00 a.m.?

early check-in : available at 11:00 a.m. with additional 30% charge of the rack rate.
late check-out : Extension of check-out will be charged additional as follows.

up to 3 hours : 30% of the rack rate
up to 6 hours : 50% of the rack rate

However, we can not accept the request of early check-in and late check-out when we are fully booked.

How and How long to get to Hotel Granvia Okayama from JR Okayama station?

It takes about 3 minutes on foot from JR Okayama station.
Please use the walk-through between the station and our hotel on the second floor.

How to get to Hotel Granvia Okayama from Okayama airport?

Please take the airport limousine bus from the airport to Okayama station.
It takes about 30 minutes from Okayama airport to Okayama station.
The bus arrives at the west bus terminal of Okayama station.
Please walk toward the east side of the station and take the walk-through about 5 minutes to get to our hotel.

Is there a business room in the hotel?

Business room is located on the first floor, next to the reception desk.
Please ask at the reception desk when you use the business room.
The charge for using the business room is as follows.

For the hotel guests: ¥ 540 per a night
Visitors : ¥ 540 per 30 minutes

We also offer the laptop rental service for ¥1000 per a night for hotel guests.

Is it available to use wireless Internet access?

Available in every rooms, banquet rooms and lobby floor (1st floor) for free.
Please ask the password at the reception desk to use the service.
Local network access is also available in every rooms execpt Japanese style room with the LAN cable in the drawer of the desk for free.

What kind of amenities are there in the guest rooms?

Toothbrush, razor, shower cap, hair brush, comb, cotton applicator, green tea, roasted tea, slippers, shoeshine, shampoo, hair conditioner, body-wash, hand soap, shaving cream and so on.

Any other items and equipments for rent?

Electric transformer, plug adapter, desk lamp, press, humidifier, blanket, buckwheat husk pillow, laptop (¥ 1000 per a night), DVD and CD player ( ¥ 1000 per a night), wine opener, nail clipper, umbrella and so on.

Is Money exchange available?

Money exchange is only available for the hotel guests at the reception desk (US$, £, Euro) please ask at the Reception desk.

Is there laundry service in the hotel?

Please fill out the laundry slip (Laundry, Dry Cleaning and Pressing) in the drawer of the desk and call the Reception by 10 a.m.
We will pick up the laundry and deliver it afternoon on the same day.
No laundry service on Sunday and National Holidays.

How much is the room charge for the preschool children?

Preschool children are free to stay if they can sleep sharing. Baby beds are available for ¥ 1782 per a night.
Please let us know the request in advance because the number of the bed is limited.

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel building?

There is a swimming pool on the fifth floor.
The charge is ¥1080 for the hotel guests.
Please bring your room key to the reception of the pool on the floor. (close on the third Monday of every months )
※ Under 10 year-old children are not available to use the pool for the safety reasons.

Are there any restaurants and bars?

There are seven restaurants and one bar in the building. Please check the dining page.

Where can we have breakfast? Do we need to make reservations?

Cafe restaurant "Olivier" on the second floor serves western style breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (buffet style)
You don’t need any reservations.

How much dose it cost for canceling the reservation of the stay?

Cancelation until the day before of your expected arrival : 0% of the room charge.
Cancelation on the day of your expected arrival: 100% of the room charge.
If you fail to notify the hotel of the cancelation: 100% of the room charge.

If you made the reservations through any travel companies or agencies, please contact about the cancelation of your stay through those companies and agencies.
The cancelation term will be applied based on those companies.
When you made the reservation through the other companies web-site, please follow the terms of the websites.
